Stepanovich, when with the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) served as counsel in a case involving the equal treatment of religious organizations and their use of public school facilities after-hours. The Supreme Court agreed that a school district’s denial of a church’s use of school premises to show religious-oriented films violated the First Amendment’s freedom of speech.
